Through the Microsoft Partner programme we have successfully conducted
Round Tables with Microsoft South Africa and continue to use MS Visio as
primary application for VizPro®, VizComm™ and VizBiz™. MS Project is applied
for our Project Management delivery, and various MS Office applications for
our office management and collaboration with partners and clients.
Our association with Synnovation provides us with the capability to offer Innovation Techniques for those clients who need an answer to “how do we become more innovative?” Innovation and process go hand in hand, and through application of the Synnovation Techniques, process innovation is fast tracked.
Our relationship with TenStep, Inc goes back to 2003 when we first explored the possibility of making our process tools and techniques available through licensing, based on the the successful TenStep Project Management Methodology model.
In 2007 we formalised the relationship through the launch of the international ProcessStep brand. During 2008 we incorporated ProcessStep into the TenStep Strategy Delivery Office. The TenStep SDO is a joint venture with TenStep, Inc. providing a suite of services, in partnership with the TenStep Global Practitioners, globally.
The venture makes Pétanque part of the global arena, and enables us to
share information, tips and case studies with colleagues in just about every
industry and in over 50 countries.

- Going high - Going in high is the only way when the ground is rough. A rolling shot will not work, and you have to make the boule land where you want it to lie. This is not as easy as it sounds, it requires a very high shot with a lot of backspin on the boule.
- Rolling in - This is typically the first shot used by all players, as it is the easiest shot to perform. The ball is thrown about halfway and rolls the rest of the way.
- Rolling in for a hit - The rolling-hit is generally considered a bit of a cheat, but as long as it works, do it. You aim at the opponent's boule, and try to land a bit in front of it to make your boule roll into it and knock it away.
- Carreau - Carreau is the most difficult shot you can learn, but if you master it there is a bright future for you in pétanque.
